Who is the course for?
Students who have a large amount of digital images to manage and want to perform standard adjustments to single images or batches.
Adobe Lightroom is widely used by photographers, artists and anyone who wants to process a large collection of digital images as efficiently as possible.
What is the course about?
An introduction to the main features of Adobe Lightroom. During the sessions students will learn how to import images, manage a collection, edit images and export for final use.
Are there any course requirements?
Good IT skills. Some understanding of the basic terminology of digital imaging such as file formats, resolution etc.
Do I need to bring anything?
Not necessary though students may wish to purchase the software or download a trial from www.adobe.com to practice the skills covered.
Students may wish to bring in a collection of their own images to work with. A USB stick with 20 – 100 images in JPEG format. The tutor will provide images for students to work with.
Are there any other costs?
None other than course fees. Students may purchase the software though this isn’t a requirement.
