Who is the programme for?
This course is for anyone who has already completed our Ballroom Dancing for Beginners course, or who is already confident with the basic steps of Ballroom Dancing. This could be an alternative to your more usual workout! You have seen it on the television, now learn how to do it!
Some previous dance experience is necessary. Single dancers are welcome, but you may find this course more fun if you enrol with a partner.
What is the programme about?
All of your favourite dances will be covered in this fun and relaxed course, such as – Waltz, Quickstep and the Foxtrot, You will already know the basic steps and will be taught more complicated moves to enable you to move onto the next level. Ballroom dancing can be a lot of fun and everyone tends to pick it up really quickly.
Entry to the Programme?
You will need to have a reasonable level of basic fitness and good balance, to be able to cope with the movement and steps, and be able to take a full and active part in this course. The tutor may assess you on the first evening.
Wear some comfortable clothing and shoes (ladies small heels only).
